About Katy

I grew up on the East coast where I spent most of my childhood around boats and sailing. There was a strong interest about health and Holistic life in my family. My upbringing together with my personal life experiences and professional training have allowed me to develop an empathic, balanced and integrated approach. I continue to have a deep fascination in the developing understanding of our Mind-Body-Spirit connections through reading, art and music. When not working I can be found in and around gardens.

My Experience

I have twenty years of experience working with Craniosacral clients and much longer in Complementary therapies. At University I studied Psychology and afterwards found myself becoming attracted to Holistic forms of treatment. Having completed several trainings in other therapies I found my passion in Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy. I qualified in the early 2000s and worked primarily in a busy Birmingham clinic then in the Cotswolds. I am fully registered with the CSTA (Craniosacral Therapy Association) and fully Insured. I have continued my knowledge and deepening into this therapy with regular CPD courses ranging from anatomy based courses to more existential courses. I recently completed a 4 year in-depth course with Karlton Terry of the US based Pre and Perinatal Institute.

My Approach

My aim is to support you to make any changes that may be needed to establish and maintain an embodied, healthier you. My training over many years, together with twenty years of client experience, help me to create a safe environment with an empathic touch. This allows me and you to discover and understand your symptoms or experiences. A combination of building your internal resources together with releasing any tensions or traumas helping realign your body may help you move towards an overall sense of well-being.
